Creating & Managing Mixed Audio/Video Playlists

RideStream breaks traditional boundaries between audio and video players. Create unified playlists containing music videos, audio tracks, podcasts, and movies in a single queue.

Android & Windows Media Library

Why Mixed Playlists?

Standard players require separate libraries for music and movies. RideStream seamlessly transitions from playing an MP3 song to playing a high-resolution MP4 video without interrupting your session flow, background audio service, or Wi-Fi stream queue.

Step-by-Step: How to Build a Playlist

  1. Tap the + New Playlist button on the home library screen and name your list.
  2. Tap Add Media to open the built-in file picker or Storage Access Framework.
  3. Select any combination of MP4, MKV, AVI, MP3, FLAC, or WAV files.
  4. Use the drag handles next to any track to reorder items, or tap Shuffle 🔀 for random playback.
